Festival of Trees and Free Facepainting in Gadsden

The Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts will be having it's Festival of Trees XXIII: Fairy Tale Forest and Let it Snow: the Exhibit Grand Opening Celebration this Saturday November 17, 2012.   The event will start at 10:00 AM and we will be there to help add some fun and color with free holiday face painting until 1:00 pm.  There will be a special dance performance downstairs by the fabulous artists and dance students from the Downtown Dance Conservatory (who we absolutely love and support as much as we can).

As quoted from their website listed below:  "Children of all ages will marvel at the fairy tale themed decorated trees and will delight in a winter wonderland where they can make snow angels, play in the snowball pit, sled down a snow slide and more!"  I am so curious to see and enjoy the "snow."  I bet Crystal the Winter Fairy would love to see it, too!  She is due to fly down from the North Pole in December so make sure to check back for updates about her!

There is a fee of $5 for children, $6 for adults and this includes admission to the Imagination Place. Members of the Hardin Center are free as are children up to 24 months.

This will be great fun!
